Recipe type: Snack
Ingredients
  • 2 cups tortilla chips
  • ½ - 1 cup of cheddar or Mexi-blend cheese
Instructions
  1. Place the tortilla chips in the pie pan.
  2. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
  3. Place the pan into a turkey cooking bag and twist shut.
  4. Place the pie pan up very close to the reflector.
  5. Heat until the cheese is melted.
Notes
The time to actually melt the cheese will depend on how hot the temperature inside the bag gets. Be sure to place the reflector and the pie pan in a hot sunny spot and keep it pointed towards the sun.

My nachos took 20 - 30 minutes to heat on a 95 degree day.

Variations: Add several spoonfuls of chili on top.
For a Frito Chili PIe, use Fritos, chili, cheese, and onions.
