Author:
Recipe type: Snack
Serves: 1
Ingredients
  • 1 8 in flour tortilla
  • ½ cup cheddar or Mexi-blend cheese, grated
Instructions
  1. Place the flour tortilla into the pie pan.
  2. Spread the cheese on half of the tortilla.
  3. Fold the tortilla over on itself.
  4. Place the pie pan into the cooking bag. Twist and tie closed with a twisty tie.
  5. Place the pie tin up next to the reflector.
  6. Heat until the cheese is melted.
Notes
The time needed to actually melt the cheese will depend on how hot the temperature inside the bag gets. Be sure to place the reflector and the pie pan in a hot sunny spot and keep it pointed towards the sun.

My cheese crisp took 40 minutes to heat on a 95 degree day.

Variation: Add cooked chicken, beef, or bacon to the cheese prior to cooking.
