I have a great little recipe for little apple pie wedgies. It is easy and fun to put together. It is perfect for school groups, scout troops, or just for kidding around with the kids at home.
Solar Apple Crescents
- 1 tube Crescent rolls
- 1 apple, cut into slices
- margarine or butter
- cinnamon & sugar
Pre-heat the solar oven while preparing the crescents.
Separate the crescents into triangles. Spread each with a little dab of margarine. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Place an apple slice on the small end of the triangle and roll up. If desired, top with a little bit more butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Place onto a baking sheet and then into the hot solar oven. It took about 2 hours for mine to bake. (Bake at 350 degrees for about 11 – 13 minutes in the oven)
